We understand that you are planning an entire wedding, and as much as you are interested in the specifics of each individual component what you are really looking for in the end is a beautiful and memorable day. That is why we are not simply a ceremony site, we are not simply a reception hall, and we are not simply a catering company. We are a wedding facility and we want to make sure that each component of your wedding comes together cohesively. We are invested in the details and the bigger picture. We are interested in making your day a spectacular one, and we are interested in making the planning as simple as possible for you.
When you start planning your wedding, the most important decision you will make will center around location: Where will you have your ceremony? Where will the reception be? Once you’ve answered these questions, you can finally start getting into the smaller details.
The Perfect Location for Your Country Wedding: The Ceremony Site
19 Tralee Wedding Facility is a venue located in the rolling hills of Caledon. It is a 140 acre estate just minutes outside of the quiet town of Orangeville. Tralee ’s location offers beautiful scenery for a country wedding and is close enough to Orangeville to offer convenient accommodation for your guests.
Tralee property can function as both the ceremony site and the reception location, or you can simply chose to have your reception with us if that is your preference! We are the ideal location for your wedding ceremony if you are looking to have a gorgeous country wedding. Among many ceremony sites on the property, we have the weeping willows, the pond (complete with white swans!), a number of charming gazebos, or the rock garden. Have a look at our gallery and enjoy.
Our friendly staff will be waiting at the entrance of Tralee to greet your guests and direct them to the site. The bride and her entourage are transported to the ceremony site by a classic horse-drawn carriage.
Anyone can see that Tralee ’s scenic property naturally lends itself to incredible photographic opportunities. The venue features pavilions, gazeboes, and bridges around the picturesque pond. We know your wedding will be a day to remember and at Tralee , you can be sure you will have the most beautiful photos to go along with those memories. While your guests enjoy canapés and beverage service after the ceremony in our upper hall, the wedding party is able to explore the 140 acres of photographic potential! We even suggest meeting with your photographer in advance at Tralee to discuss all of the possibilities available. The Set Up and Rehearsal
Because we know there is a demand for your time during the week leading up to your wedding, our staff will set up the upper and lower hall with linens and table settings on Thursday and the hall is ready and available on Friday for your decorating. The bride and groom also have access to the facility during the week of their wedding and a lot of couples decide to take advantage of this by having their rehearsal dinner in the hall.
Your Reception: The Banquet Hall
Whether you are looking for a formal event or a casual affair, Tralee Wedding Facility can meet all of your needs and expectations. Our banquet hall is located in the heart of the property, against a backdrop of woodland trails. We have two halls (the Carriage House and the Trophy Room) and we also have a beautiful marquee tent for larger weddings. Don’t worry about having too many or too few guests to fill our halls; with two different halls and a marquee tent we are capable of hosting weddings of all sizes. Our facility can comfortably hold anywhere from 80 to 160 people and we have a marquee tent for guest counts of 170 to 350. If you are hoping to have a Cocktail Style reception, these numbers are larger: in this case, the hall has a capacity for 235 guests.
Our Trophy Room is ideal for beverage and canapé services before dinner, or even an indoor wedding ceremony! It has beautiful hardwood flooring, floor to ceiling windows, washroom facilities and a bar. Our Carriage House is the larger of the two and is used as the main reception hall, with a dance floor, a bar and washroom facilities. Both buildings include extensive verandas and decks with outdoor tables and chairs.
We can arrange all of the details from booking the band or DJ, to arranging centrepieces, valet parking, to our extensive rental selection of tents, tables, chairs, etc; or perhaps it is just food and beverage service and staffing service you require. We are fully insured (2 million liability policy) and hold a catering endorsement liquor license.
Your Reception: Catering
We offer several different packages according to the type of wedding you are looking to have!
• Our Traditional Wedding Package is a perfect choice for the bride who is looking forward to having a timeless, classic wedding. Our dinner service is available in three different styles; Sit-Down Dinner Service, Platter Style Menu or Buffet. We’ve created a package with endless menu options to suit your individual needs, and are more than happy to cater to any specific themes or favourite dishes that you might have your heart set on! Following dinner, we have a full beverage service and late night buffet to ensure that your guests will have a great time well after the dinner is over.
• For the modern bride, we offer the Cocktail Style Package. Ever growing in popularity, this style lends itself to a wonderfully social celebration. By allowing your guests to enjoy a spectacular food and beverage service without adhering to the formality of a sit down meal, this type of reception is an excellent way for your friends and family to enjoy great food and great company. With the cocktail style package, we offer your choice of canapés, food stations and desserts and you even have the option of a martini bar! If you are looking for the perfect balance of simplicity and elegance, this package is for you.
• Finally, we offer our Chef’s Menu Package. For anyone who is passionate about the dynamics of food and wine and is looking to celebrate their wedding with a sensational meal, the Chef’s Menu Package is the right choice. Truly a culinary adventure, our creative chefs will put together a five course menu that is unique to your tastes and preferences. In addition to a beautiful meal, you will impress your guests with different wines selected to compliment each course perfectly. This package is ideal for interspersing speeches and slide shows throughout the meal.

After The Reception
Just because the party is over, it doesn’t mean the planning ends. There are still a lot of things you will want to consider with regards to the end of the reception, such as transportation for you and your guests as well as accommodations.
There are a number of options for transportation and we are more than happy to refer you to some great local limousine or cab companies, and we can even arrange transportation for your guests with Denny’s Bus Line. We also have great accommodation cards with referrals for you to send your guests.
